Bio/Info: Singer/Songwriter born into an artistic family, where his Grandmother was a self taught musician and painter, his Father Kit Jones was an highly acclaimed guitar player, recording with various bands ini the '70's. At 10 years old; Brock knew that he had a gift that went far beyond just being a hobby starting his own band in high school as most musicians do. In '92 he dedicated his services to the U.S.N. which would allow him to see distant lands and various cultures, such as Naples, Pompeii and Rome in Italy. Also there would be opportunities to visit Barcelona, Spain, Toulon, France and even play at “The Rock Café” in Valletta, Malta ( a small island off of the coast of Greece). It was during these travels that Brock catalogued over 100 songs for his personal song-bank for the future. It wasn’t until the ripe young age of 22 that he began to gain confidence in his vocals and guitar playing. After getting an honorable discharge from the Navy in ’96, Brock continued his music career with various bands in Cincinnati, Ohio opening for jam bands such as Moonshine Still and also opening a story tellers with Pat Dinizio of the Smithereens in 2000. In June 2004 Brock packed his bags in moved to Dallas, TX on a job transfer where he continued to work on a solo CD, in which he played all of the instruments on the CD as well as completing all of the vocals. His first solo CD “stay the course” was introduced to the public on January 17, 2006 where Brock wanted to promote the CD in the manner to gain public interest as well as possible interest from the record industry.
