Bio/Info: I am a musician, guitarist, songwriter, producer. I spent time with Texas blues legend Mance Lipscomb, traded guitar techniques with Eric Johnson, and have spent millions of hours at jam sessions. I am mostly self taught but have also utilized my formal training in music and the Oboe to shape my approach and style of music. My first electric guitar was a 1957 Les Paul Special and my first amplifier was a Marshall stack. I have worked with Phillips Craig and Dean, Dorothy Norwood, Cynthia Greene of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, and pop diva Mikaila. My guitar work has been showcased on CDs that included guitarist Andy Timmons. During my tenure with the Texas legend Albatross, the band was featured on the MTV show The Basement Tapes. I have also appeared on the Big Methuselah music video Myself which was aired on several Christian video shows including Lighthouse 21. The band Big Methuselah garnered success with several of their songs reaching US radio top ten charts. Over the last few years I have worked with several ministries in the Dallas area, including the Christ Temple Praise band, ACTS, Global Glory Ministries, 89.7 Power FM, Tom Dooley and the Journey, the Power and Authority Mass choir, Steve Solomon Riverwalk Fellowship, Rohn Bailey, and Behind the Wire prison ministry. These days I am exploring a new and uncharted genre of music bringing the rock guitar wizardry of the 70s and 80s into the new and exciting Latin music soundscape of America. I finished my first all instrumental guitar CD titled Sojourn in 2005. Not one to sit still for very long I put together a Latin pop band ala Santana in 2005 and am finishing up the bands 1st CD. I also have an espanol Latin guitar instructional video in the works that is slated for release in early 2006. 2006 is looking good, Latin music is blowing up! Brown power baby!
