Randy AllenGenre: country Location: Dallas, TX Visits: 2776 | Bio/Info: It all started at age five when Randy’s mother got him a piano. Years of performing prepared him for concerts and marching band solos with the trombone he picked up in sixth grade. After way too long without an instrument, musical interests turned to the guitar in 1997 when a self-purchased birthday present lead him down a dirt road that has turned into a four lane highway. Music was on his mind again.
Life began in the small town of Kingsville, home of the King Ranch, where this songwriter was brought up in the middle of what makes Texas the state it is – Rangers that wear a badge and spurs, farmers that grow food by the truckload, ranchers that drive cattle, hardhats in refineries, Friday nights at the high school football stadium, and four-wheel drive because you need it.
Dallas is still Texas, but there weren’t many signs of home around here, so Randy set out to sprinkle a little home on his fans through his music. You’ll hear the sounds of Waylon Jennings, Charlie Daniels, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr, Merle Haggard and Stevie Ray Vaughan when Randy Allen hits the stage. This style of Texas Country Music has shown to appeal to a wide variety of audiences, from white collar to blue collar, from bikers to honkytonkers. www.randyallen.us Friends |
